I'm JC, aka Sooth. I'm a 24 year old gay guy, living in Canada. I currently work at a custom cabinetmaking shop, where we make furniture out of solid wood, laminates, and other interesting materials. We specialize in custom kitchen cabinets, and we do installations as well. I've only been working here since December 2007. So it's still fairly new stuff from where I was working before.

I also have gotten completely obsessed with clocks over the past year and a half. Not regular clocks though, but antique mechanical ones. I restore the cases; dismantle, repair, and clean the brass movements; do restorations on reverse painted glass tablets and dials, etc.

I've actually got (at present) about 50-60 clocks. Not all of them run, but most do. I'm always learning new repair techniques. I often get asked "How do you sleep?" because I actually have 7 that strike in my bedroom (some every 1/2 hour). Truth is, I hardly even notice them, and I sleep like a rock. Most of the time I don't hear them ring.
